Invited | As you’ll know from my blog post (link in bio) and image yesterday, I was invited to the wonderful @strattoncourtbarn for a VIP lunch and taster day to explore their countryside venue. I just had to show you some of the incredible treats they had on display (and to nibble after lunch) 🥗! . . . Well, today I wanted to show off these incredible sweet treats by @cherrytreecakerie 😳. As I’m sure you can make out, these are chocolate and raspberry brownies and look absolutely incredible in situ 🍫! . . I’ll be posting a few more photos from the day over the weekend, so keep popping back to check for more!
Invited | Today I visited the most beautiful venue in the stunning countryside of Oxfordshire 🌳... I’ll be posting a few pretty pictures taken today @strattoncourtbarn VIP event where I got the opportunity to cuddle a horse, pet a labrador and make my own tote bag with @annajaynedesigns ❤️. . . . 🌳 My posts have been heavily ‘outside’ and architecture based the last few weeks, mainly because it’s been so beautiful in the snow... But I do explore the heritage and history of places too, so I’ll be posting more about that to mix things up a bit 📚! I’ll be transitioning into a springtime account starting with my pretty pictures from today’s event! Huge thank you to the lovely Katrin @strattoncourtbarn and it was wonderful to meet you all. X
Do you ever get those days where you wake up and just really crave something 🙈. I do, it’s usually in the form of blueberry muffins and chai tea / hot chocolate, which means I’m probably hidden in the corner of cafe loco 🙈! . . Last night I was sat at home drinking my chai tea thinking how crazy it was we haven’t had even a sprinkling more snow since that flurry ⛄️! Last year I recall being snowed in at my parents (literally, I couldn’t get back to London) house around my Mum’s birthday in March so I’m hoping we get some more then 🤞🏼! . . Oh - if you don’t know what a chai tea is, then get yourselves down to @Waitroseandpartners or local farm shop... I picked myself up the yummiest vegan (they do non vegan but it isn’t as strong/cinnamo flavoured and smells a bit like milk powder) drink by my favourite little company @drinkmechai 🥰 and taste it for yourself. Jon always calls my chai obsession a mug full of cinnamon spice 🙈... So if you like cinnamon you’ll love this. Have a fufilling day I’d love to know what you’re up too ☺️. Xxx
Good evening everyone! How was your Saturday? It was really windy today and rained a lot⛈! We went out for a few hours and got so lucky with the weather. After our walk I said ‘gosh it looks like a storms coming’ and as soon as we got in the car it monsooned on us 😱! . . Here’s a picture of last weekend in Burford... Last week my lips were blue 💙and my hands were chapped (they’re still chapped - any amazing hand cream suggestions welcome) but this week it’s warmer and I only need my floaty light scarf 🧣on.
It’s midday everyone! I’ve been awake since quite early this morning when two little cats jumped on me meowing and asking for food 🙈. . . . Today I’ve got lots to do and will be quite busy when I get going! I think a good cup of tea is in order before I start however ☕️! . . . I had planned on going to the gym before work, but it’s raining and cold outside so a few more minutes in bed won’t hurt 😅. . . . Here’s a Friday throwback to a weekend walking through snow and slipping on icing paths!
Morning everyone! It’s Wednesday, probably my least favourite day of the week 🤣. The one work day reminded us we have another two left before the weekend 🙃... It’s actually lovely weather together in Oxford (well, my area anyway)... So let’s hope this keeps up! I was out and about yesterday with my parents since it was my Dad’s birthday 🎈! That was really fun. I did lots of dog walking and went round a pretty antiques emporium and @oka where we got some cute bits for our homes ☺️. . . . Well today - I’m looking forward too my Wednesday am off to meet my old uni friend and her doggy later for lunch so that should be nice ☀️! . . . What are you up too today? ☀️
